CVSN Fall Soccer Report // End Of Summer Update

WELL. WELL. WELL. I'm still alive after the chaotic World Cup that gave the entire nation the quadrennial soccer fever. And I'm aware of the missed opportunities to host community games, events, or giveaways to further unite and progress the network. I really want to host more and have consistent events... BUT, and believe me, because I love being outside, THIS SUMMER WAS SO HOOTTT!! Okay, I'm aware that's a big copout given I've been born, raised, MOLDED in this desert heat. I had lots of doubts over participation count and scheduling for an optimal time. The weather this summer was brutal as usual, but I wanted to feel comfortable inviting people and kids to play without fear of heatstroke. I'm always planning my workouts and runs to avoid sun exposure because that giant ball in the sky is no joke. Years of running around with no care have caught up to me, and unless I want sun rashes, I'm forced to put on sunscreen to avoid the itch and my skin burning up. Still, regardless of my problems, I only acknowledge them in hopes that anyone playing out there continues to wear sunscreen and protect their skin.
The Coachella Valley is always notorious for the unbearable heat, yet our passion for the game doesn't stop us even in this scorching environment. Just as famous for the heat and the festivals, our soccer talent and network should be as widely recognized and regarded. This is the vision and goal of this project. Not to profit, exploit, or steal players. We at CVSN only want the best for the soccer community and recognize its disorganized state. Although not currently united, lots of teams across the Valley have built strong foundations that have stood the test of time. Check them out on our Local Clubs page and make sure to register your team if we missed you!
Alright, apologies for taking so long to get to the important part.

Now, with the fall season already upon us, it means the youth soccer registration frenzy is here too. Spots fill up quickly, and those who signed up early know how frustrating it can be. We have the "gift" of social media now to help provide information, but it can still be difficult for someone who doesn't know where to look. Although simple, we hope our Youth Soccer Overview will help anyone looking to start their child's soccer journey. We'll organize it by city and try to provide as many links as possible, depending on the program.
